FANCY PANTS ORCHESTRA
Fancy Pants Orchestra is Thomas Tree Murray's take on jazz, big-band, and 1940's music. This record, titled Feeling Good! features a nine-piece ensemble from the Los Angeles Jazz Society. Charted and led by band leader Geoff Stradling, this album is guaranteed to get you up on your feet and moving! The full, entire LP version of Feeling Good! was released on May 31, 2023, on Everything Ok Records. Sung in English and Spanish by Baby Cupcake and Fernanda Karolys. All songs written by Thomas Tree Murray and CJC. Recorded at Malibu Sound Studios by Sebastien Hamel. Mixed by Walter Clissen. Final engineering by Topher Boe and Ty De Blasi.
CHRISTY MCCOOL
Hailing from downtown Hollywood in the early 1990's, Christy McCool is a blazingly fast and unique rock n' roll band with a style and feel all their own. Their debut album "Lovelier Than The Queen Of England" has garnished much attention over the years and has developed its own cult following. Fans adore Christy McCool for their outrageous and original thrash grunge style. Originally released on Doctor Dream Records.
SUBSONIC SONAR
This avante-garde, electronic dance project between Thomas Tree Murray and Mazz Daouk combines the elements of trip-hop beats with epic, operatic vocals in a seemingly flawless and unique manner. Along with Murray and Doauk, Walter Clissen contributed to the mixing and sound design of this special and epic project.
BODHITREES
Written, arranged, and produced with his longtime songwriting partner CJC, Bodhitrees is Thomas Tree Murray's very own strange, fun, and unusual world. Boditrees featured albums, "Calling Colleen" and "Katie", contain enchantingly addictive melodies complimented with smart and easy to listen to musical arrangements. Originally released on Lost Art Records.
HUMAN ZOO
Dark. Powerful. And High Octane. Thomas Tree Murray’s ‘Human Zoo’, co-produced with CJC, is a cascading album of strange, heavy guitar feedback, chunky riffs, primal drum beats, and vocals as unconventional and mysterious as they are beautiful and original. Hard, Heavy Rock meets a Primal, Tribal Spirit; ‘Human Zoo’ is an album which you’ve never heard the likes of before!
Calling Colleen
Written, arranged, and produced with his longtime songwriting partner, CJC, Calling Colleen is truly a masterpiece of an album. Crossing many different musical genres and styles, this album continues to open up with every listen. You will be entertained by the lyrics as much as you will be by the music! Originally released on Lost Art Records and rereleased on Everything OK Records on December 2, 2022.
Your High
Your High is the seventh, full-length album by Murray and his fifth album collaborating with CJC. Your High demonstrates some of the strongest songwriting and musical creativity of Murray and CJC’s musical partnership. Sonically, the album features sophisticated horn and piano arrangements, Dr. Seuss-esque lyrics, different cultural accents; and even a children’s choir. Delightfully playing with the concept of what popular music can be, Murray and CJC’s Your High is in an artistic space all of its own. The album features Father Anthony Fidel on piano.
Jacks Off
Jacks Off is the raucous, smoking hot EP from Christy McCool. This previously unreleased EP has been resurrected and released on May 17, 2023 on Everything OK Records. All five songs were notably recorded at the band Journey's Oakland Studios and engineered by Michael Rosin.
